Here I am in late summer, optimistic and intent on helping to shed some light and spread a few smiles. Life today is so full of uncertainly that we can only be of assistance if we take some time to focus on making someone else's day a bit lighter. In my 67 years, I have learned that in the daily grind to succeed, one has a tendency to forget that your goals are only a small portion of the bigger picture. Your destiny is to return Home with a history of those your have helped along the path of this journey. And, to do your best in what your contribution to humanity is.
Arthritis and fibromyalgia, is taking a toll on my ability to do many tasks well. Turning a door knob, or pruning the plants that I love so much is fast becoming a major challenge theses days. But, I love and bless the arms and hands that have served me so excellently all of these years, and I will continue to put forth my best effort to make you smile for as long as my command of this keyboard allows.
My deep appreciation to those who are writing, and continue to encourage my efforts, beyond these growing infirmities. Your cyber friendship is the steam in my engine to contribute to our efforts and good humor. We, are truly IN this Life, TOGETHER.
