| Roberta King is one of my oldest living friends. Her supreme talents at the keyboard and gracious generosity framed a mesmerizing show case of multiple voices and song styles, captivated her numerous fans for many years. Some of my most precious memories, are of the nights we knocked em' dead at Perrina's. |

Don Ameche requested "I Surender Dear" and when the song was over, Larry leaped off of his seat and hugged me. Don did too, however, no one took a photo. These Photos taken by: bartender, Jim Talley, who had worked at Perrina's since 1948. |

| Off to the Hungry Tiger to do a show with CiCi Grant! |

| CiCi Grant and I were close friends for 20 years until I moved to Washington State in 1983. Here we are at my place (1976), discussing a country western song I wrote. She was trying to convince me to go on tour with her, but I hated the road and being away from my kids for months at a time. So, we never did. Today, (2007) CiCi is 83, and has Alzheimer Disease, and doesn't know me anymore. But we who were huge fans of hers; will never forget her classy sounds and eternal beauty. |
